Authentic Mexican food with creative flair i.e. great habanero hot sauce. Pricing could be better but the rent in the plaza is probably high. Tacos and Chile rellano are decent and portions of plentiful. Rice was starchy but no big deal. Ambiance is bare bones eat and leave unfortunately. But hey times are what times are.
The food was really good! I went with my family and we tried the tacos de lengua, de carne asada, and barbacoa (in the picture). The Tacos de barbacoa were a bit underwhelming, but the rest were the best we've had in South Florida! We also tried the horchata and it was amazing! The service was fast and friendly though only one person was working out front when we were there. The restaurant itself is small and cozy.
What can I say??? This place is the real deal, once you get over it is in a strip mall you are in taco heaven. I can not say more about how good my tacos were. The taste was authentic, made from scratch and fresh ingredients on a late Tues night. (25 Oct 2022) I work in Mexico and the food took me back to the last meal I had in Leon, MX. With so many wanna be's in this food arena it was a pleasure to eat here, Thank you to the women in the kitchen that made my food so good!
THE BEST TACOS! We love the tacos de lengua, the corn tortillas are fresh homemade, from scratch, not frozen or pre made. The horchata is delicious. The ladies that work here are really nice, service is great. It's a small family business and sometimes when you come in they are busy, but the food is always worth it.
Located on Sample in a shopping center NE of I-95, there is plenty of parking, but lock your doors. This place has authentic street tacos and Mexican food. One of the few places I've found that has lengua and cabeza. I don't go here expecting great friendly service, I go here for the tacos and pozole.....and that's what I get. The tortillas are hand-made to order, the tacos come out hot and fast. Thye offer a couple hot sauces, a green and a a red one....both have mild heat and add a nice hit to the tacos topped w/ cilantro and onion. Enjoy!
This was my first time trying Habaneros and it was great! I ordered 2 each of 4 different tacos (pollo, chorizo, barbacoa and Al pastor) along with a drink (Agua de Tamarindo) and dessert (Flan), everything was amazing! The woman working the counter was friendly and took the time to not only explain the different options but also provide me with a sample of 2 of the drinks! If you haven't tried this place you need to go and if you have you already know what I'm talking about and will surely be back soon!
This place was pretty good. The food was delicious, but they were out of many items on the menu making it difficult for one to try different foods normally offered. The service was alright, nothing special. The Colombian girl working there seemed a bit annoyed at what she was doing but not enough for it to come off as rude. We all have bad days, so I totally get it. I would recommend this place fix their AC situation in order to make dining in a more enjoyable experience, especially during the hot summer days. Other than this I have nothing much to say. The place is a little Mexican hole in the wall with pretty good food. I probably won't be back considering I live extremely far, but if you happen to be in the area then it's worth a try.
